Our mission is to promote values of brotherhood, solidarity, and family through the practice of high-level collective music and art in general, for all children in the United States and around the world.
VISION
To reach every boy and girl, projecting them into a musical future through different levels such as: the study of music in individual classes, chamber music, and the creation of orchestras. To provide them with human and spiritual growth, enhancing teamwork, strengthening character through a bright path like art.

Loidmary Perenguez
Venezuelan flutist with extensive orchestral experience, international performances, and notable competition wins. Co-founder of A Tempo Music Academy. Dedicated music pedagogue in Washington DC, shaping young talents since 2016.
Loidmary Perenguez is a Venezuelan flutist, educator, and artistic leader based in Washington, D.C., deeply committed to the transformative power of music education.
She was recently recognized among distinguished Latinos by Latina magazine for her cultural and artistic contributions, and is the first-place winner of the Second International Yamaha Flute Competition at the Mozarteum School of Music in Caracas. She has also performed as a featured soloist at the Venice Biennale in 2023 and 2024, and served for years as principal flutist and wind section coach with the Caracas Youth Symphony Orchestra under Gustavo Dudamel.
As a DC Public Schools music teacher, Loidmary has earned a Highly Effective rating through the IMPACT evaluation system, reflecting her dedication to student learning, creativity, and inclusion.

Dietrich Paredes
Dietrich Paredes, renowned conductor, led various orchestras worldwide including Orchestra della Toscana, RTE National Symphony Orchestra, and Caracas Symphony Orchestra. Accomplished violinist and conductor.
Dietrich Paredes is a distinguished Venezuelan conductor renowned for his dynamic leadership and commitment to youth music education. A product of Venezuela’s acclaimed El Sistema program, Paredes has built an impressive international career, conducting esteemed orchestras across the globe.
In 2008, Paredes was appointed Music Director of the Caracas Youth Orchestra (CYO), one of El Sistema’s flagship ensembles. Under his direction, the CYO toured extensively throughout South America, Asia, and Europe, performing at prestigious venues and festivals such as the Salzburg Festival, Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Dvořák Festival in Prague, and Beethovenfest in Bonn. His leadership not only elevated the orchestra’s artistic profile but also showcased the transformative power of youth orchestras on the global stage.
Since relocating to Washington, D.C., in 2017, Paredes has been actively involved in nurturing young talent in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. He serves as the conductor for the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras (MCYO).
